1. Promoter: The promoter of the “200 Zembucks Competition” competition (also called the promotion) is Zembl Pty Ltd (ABN 29 138 847 757) of Level 5, 100 William Street, Sydney 2011. Phone: 1300 957 721.
2. Eligibility: This competition is open to Australian businesses - (identified by their Australian Business Number (ABN)) operating within New South Wales (NSW), Victoria, South Australia, Australian Capital Territory, Queensland (excluding premises in the Ergon distribution zone) - that submits their details on the Zembl website and complete an energy bill comparison with Zembl over the phone. Employees of Zembl, their families, agents, or any third party directly associated with administration of the competition are excluded from participating.
3. Entries: Each entrant will be entitled to a maximum of one entry.
4. Confirmation of eligibility: Entrants into the promotion warrant that they meet the entry eligibility requirements, and the entrant accepts these terms and conditions.
5. Competition Period: The promotion period begins at 12:01 AM AEDT on 24 April 2024, and ends at 11:59 PM AEDT on 31 May 2024. Entries received after that time will not be considered.
6. How to enter: To enter the competition, an entrant must be a business with an ABN and must submits their details on the Zembl website and complete an energy bill comparison with Zembl over the phone during the specified promotion period date and time range.
7. Exclusions: Individuals are not entitled to participate in this competition. Operators/managers of embedded networks are not entitled to participate in this promotion.
8. Improper conduct: Zembl reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and the right to disqualify any entrant which has undertaken any improper conduct or tampered with the entry process or participated in this competition in a manner which is not in accordance with these terms and conditions.
9. Prize: There are five Vouchers of $200.00 each to be won. Each prize is one $200.00 voucher, issued as a Mastercard® Digital Gift Card (each a “Voucher”). The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and no cash alternative is offered.
10. Payment: Zembl will provide each winner with a Voucher by email within 60 days of the winner being announced.
11. Winner Selection: The winners will be chosen at Level 5, 100 William Street, Sydney, NSW at 03:00pm on 11 June 2024 by random draw from all eligible entries received. Zembl’s decision regarding the draw, determination of the winners and the conduct of the competition is final and cannot be contested. No correspondence will be entered into.
12. Winner Notification: The winners will be notified via email and/or telephone within 14 days of the draw. If a winner cannot be contacted within 14 days of the draw, a further random draw will take place at Level 5, 100 William Street, Sydney, NSW at 11:00am on 28 June 2024.
13. Winner Announcement and Publicity: Entrants acknowledge and agree that Zembl will publicly announce and use in promotional material and general publicity the winner’s name. The winner consents to Zembl using their name, suburb, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) for publicity purposes without any remuneration.
14. Voucher validity: Each voucher must be redeemed or validated within 90 days of receipt by the winner, and is valid for 12 months following redemption or validation.
15. Voucher terms: The Mastercard® Digital Gift Card is issued by 545490 Pty Ltd, ABN 83 648 605 225 trading as Karta Co (“Karta”) and distributed by 545490 Ops Pty Ltd. Mastercard and the circles design are registered trademarks of Mastercard International Incorporated. Redemption of the Mastercard® Digital Gift Card is subject to the standard terms and conditions, which can be found at https://www.karta.com.au/terms-conditions#digital. The Mastercard Digital Gift Card requires activation within 90 days from the date of issue. Once the Mastercard Digital Gift Card is issued, the Mastercard Digital Gift Card can be accessed by using a 6-digit code used for verifying the recipient’s Karta App and/or during the identification verification check, within 60 minutes of receiving the code. If the recipient does not enter the code in time, they can request a new code to be sent.
16. Limitation of Liability: Insofar as is permitted by law, Zembl, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any direct or indirect loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the gross negligence of Zembl, its agents or distributors or that of their employees.
17. General: By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating its agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions, and Zembl’s Privacy Policy. Entrants consent to Zembl disclosing information, if required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Zembl may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised by an entrant, use the information for personal marketing, research, profiling and publicity purposes, including sending email to, or telephoning, entrants. 18. Cancellation: If for any reason any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond Zembl’s control, Zembl may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion and invalidate any affected entries, or suspend or modify a prize, subject to State or Territory regulation.
19. Jurisdiction: The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by the laws of NSW and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of NSW.
