Switch to better energy and escape with $5,000

Your energy bill doesn't have to be a pain point. And sometimes the best way to fix it is to treat yourself for making the switch.

From 1 October to 30 November 2026, Australian small businesses get a chance to compare energy plans with Zembl and go in the draw to win a $5,000 Luxury Escapes gift card.

How to enter

The entry is straightforward. If you're a small business with an ABN operating in New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia, or the Australian Capital Territory, you're eligible. Here's what you do:

1. Use Zembl to compare your energy costs, obligation-free, no strings attached

2. Switch to an alternative energy plan through us during the promotion period

3. You're automatically entered into the draw

If you're already a Zembl customer, you can also refer a new business through the Zembassador program. When your referral switches, both of you get an entry into the draw.

One entry per meter, one big prize

Each business energy meter gets one entry in the draw. On 14 December 2026, we'll randomly select one winner from all eligible entries, and they'll walk away with a $5,000 Luxury Escapes gift card to use on travel that actually matters.

The gift card has no cash alternative, but Luxury Escapes has plenty of options available at the time of redemption. The winner covers any costs above the card value (accommodation upgrades, extra nights, meals, travel) – but starting with five grand in your pocket isn't a bad way to begin.

What you need to know

Entry is free and automatic when your switch is confirmed. You need to stay with your new energy plan until the draw date to qualify. If you're running a business outside WA, NT, or TAS, you're excluded from this promotion.

The winner will be notified by email and phone within seven days of the draw. If they can't be reached within 14 days, a redraw takes place on 4 January 2027.
